Lost In Worship
When people sing in church or listen to worship music on their own, they’re often moved by the lyrics, the melody, or just the feeling of being close to God. But what many don’t realize is that a lot of those lyrics are taken straight from the Bible. That connection between worship and scripture is truly so powerful, and it’s something I want to help people experience more through Lost in Worship. We are dedicated to making those connections more accessible, meaningful, and interactive. Basically we’re here and we’re doing this because we’re called to love people and make disciples, but you’re here for a reason too!
The main purpose of Lost in Worship is to help people find the scripture behind their favorite worship songs. It’s a way to engage believers, and even those who are just curious about the roots of the music they love. Personally, I’ve found that when I know the exact verse a song comes from, or the story behind it, I connect with it on a deeper level. It’s not just a catchy song or a good melody, it becomes a form of worship that’s grounded in God’s Word.
Through this organization you have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of worship music, find more songs, find community, and overall learn more about faith and what the heart of worship is really about. We would love to connect with you and then get you connected to a church nearby that we suggest. We would also love to help you find more worship music that fits your style, trust me there’s plenty out there. Worship is a great first step into the Christian faith, and if all you’re looking for is to connect the song to the verse, then fantastic, that’s what we’re here for! But, if you’re looking for more, we’d love to help with that too.
